THEME BASED PROGRAMS - NATYASANGEET
Sadhana was introduced to the nuances of Marathi Natyasangeet within her family itself. Her grandfather, N. W. Gokhale, was a renowned landscape artist and a devoted admirer of Bal Gandharva’s music.
For her significant contribution to the field of Natyasangeet, she was honored with the Natyacharya Khadilkar Award by Bal Gandharv Rasik Mandal, Pune.
Sadhana has performed several celebrated pieces of Natyasangeet by Bal Gandharva and has also portrayed memorable roles, including Sidhu in Ekach Pyala and a cameo in Sangeet Swayamwar. Beyond performance, she actively engages in lecture-demonstrations and has authored research papers exploring the deep interrelation between Natyasangeet and Hindustani classical music.
She currently serves as a research guide for two Ph.D. scholars pursuing their studies in Natyasangeet, further strengthening the academic and cultural discourse around this treasured tradition.
