Dr. Sadhana Shiledar is an esteemed Hindustani classical vocalist, celebrated for her mastery in both Indian classical and semi-classical music.
With a deep passion for Khyal, Nirguni Bhajans, and Marathi Natya Sangeet, Dr. Shiledar's versatile repertoire also includes Thumri, Dadra, Bhajans, and Abhangas.
Since 1993, she has been a dedicated educator, currently serving as Professor and Head of the Department of Music at the Vasantrao Naik Government Institute of Arts and Social Sciences (Morris College), Nagpur, where she also held the position of Director.

Aacharya Vivek Gokhale
Specializing in Khyal and Natya Sangeet, he previously served as a Professor and Head of the Department of Philosophy at Vidarbha Maha Vidyalaya, Amravati, Maharashtra. He holds a Master's in Music from Indira Kala Sangeet University, Khairagarh, and an M.A. in Philosophy from Jabalpur University. With a profound interest in Aesthetics, he has been awarded three Ph.D. degrees: one in Philosophy on the Aesthetics of B.S. Mardhekar, another in Marathi Literature focusing on Literary Criticism, and a third in Music on Criticism in Music. His contributions to the field include four published books: Maifileet Jidnyasechya Mardhekar ani Tikakar: Bhranta Kon? Saundaryashastrache Don Bhashyakar: Karandikar ani Mardhekar Samiksha: Nirmitee va Aaswad His work in Aesthetics and Art Criticism is widely recognized, with articles featured in various literary and music journals. As the daughter of a musician, Sadhana began her musical training in childhood, continuing a rich family tradition.
Pt. Manoharrao Kaslikar
He was honored with the prestigious Swaravilas Award by Sursingar Samsad, Mumbai. A maestro of the Agra Gharana, he was known for his beautifully structured compositions and dynamic layakari. A disciple of Ustad Bade Ghulam Ali Khan, his music was also deeply influenced by Ustad Nissar Hussain Khan's style, along with the Natyageet tradition of Chhota Gandharva. He served as Professor and Head of the Department of Music at Vidarbha Maha Vidyalaya, Amravati, Maharashtra. Sadhana was his disciple from childhood until his passing in 2010. Published Works: Raga Rang – A book of bandishes accompanied by four audio cassettes. A set of three cassettes by Alap Company featuring his live performances of Raag Chhayanat, Gaud Sarang, Desi, and Natyasangeet. A collection of four CDs featuring his live performances at prestigious music festivals. He recomposed over 300 traditional vilambit khyal compositions (unpublished). Dr. Chandrashekhar Rele
An eminent exponent of the Gwalior style of singing, Pt. Rele was a disciple of Prof. B.R. Deodhar and a gurubandhu of Pt. Kumar Gandharva. He was closely associated with the Samwad Foundation, Mumbai, and was honored with a D.Lit. from Mumbai University. In addition to his contributions to music, he practiced law professionally. Published Works: Gunjan – A collection of self-composed classical khyal compositions. Swar Pravah – A book presenting a new theory on the classification of ragas and their origins. Kumar Maza Sakha – A memoir on Pt. Kumar Gandharva (Rajhans Prakashan, Maharashtra), which was translated by Sadhana Shiledar and published by Setu Prakashan and Raza Foundation in 2023.
